Due to urgent security concerns beyond our control, we have unfortunately been forced to temporarily close the masjid until further notice.

The Directors and Trustees had requested Shaikh Fakhriy to retire due to serious concerns with his physical and Mental health.

We were hoping the matter could have resolved in dignified and respectful manner. Unfortunately, the situation has since escalated, creating significant security concerns and leaving us with no safe alternative but to close the masjid.

There will be no Jumu‘ah prayer tomorrow. Please attend another local masjid, such as Al Emaan Centre in Keston, Lewisham Islamic Centre, Sidcup Mosque or Nurani Centre in Orpington.

The premises have now been secured and the doors locked. Please do not attend or attempt to enter without authorisation. Any forced entry, damage or other unlawful activity will be reported to the police.
